The Solar Kit comes with wirelessly prepared gateway meant to be connected to the inverter, and paired node to be connected to the smart meter.
W‑Modbus replaces traditional Modbus RTU cabling with a highly reliable wireless mesh, eliminating the need for time-consuming installation planning, complex wiring, daisy-chaining, and troubleshooting. Its plug‑and‑play design requires no programming, making deployment fast and straightforward while enabling energy savings and supporting sustainability goals. By transforming wired systems into wireless solutions, W‑Modbus simplifies retrofits and scaling for modern industrial environments.
The W‑Modbus solution operates as a proxy for connected Modbus RTU devices, effectively extending the Modbus bus over a wireless network while preserving the Modbus RTU standard and maintaining low latency. A typical setup includes one W‑Modbus gateway supporting up to 100 nodes. It is built on LumenRadio’s patented MiraMesh technology, which ensures ultra‑reliable device-to-device connectivity, supports concurrent Bluetooth operation, and provides extended communication range.
