Aputure thrives with the integration of Wireless DMX

Aputure is one of the fastest growing lighting manufacturers in the film & broadcasting industry today. A few years ago they began integrating LumenRadio Wireless DMX in their fixtures. Finding success, the story continues as Aputure now releases every fixture equipped with LumenRadio’s CRMX modules.

Aputure is a global designer and manufacturer of cinema lighting fixtures and their products are used in studios, on location and on film sets. Additionally they have a large presence within photography and live production. Founded in 2005 by a team of inspired filmmakers and videographers, Aputure is headquartered in Shenzhen, China, with sales offices around the world. 

For many years, LumenRadio has been supplying the film & broadcasting industry with Wireless DMX through its technology CRMX, becoming the de-facto standard for Wireless DMX. Back in 2020 the cooperation with LumenRadio began as Aputure was looking to meet the needs of professional users by enhancing their products with Wireless DMX. The integration of the TimoTwo radio module proved to be a success and since then, Aputure has continued releasing professional fixtures with integrated Wireless DMX.

Having the Wireless DMX module built into the light fixture simplifies the workflows of set lighting and DMX console technicians. Not only is it guaranteed to work with the fixture, but it is also compatible with the vast majority of Wireless DMX fixtures on the market.
