As Peter Götzlinger puts it, “Before using wireless DMX, we had a lot of challenges with complex set designs, pieces that moved on stage and having to run cables among singers, and so on. But nowadays, when we have the signal wireless instead of in cables on the floor, it works really great.”

The rig at the Gothenburg Opera is big. It includes main moving lights from JB-Lighting, hundreds of other fixtures of various types, and an EOS control desk and Sensor dimmers from ETC.

We have rehearsals in the day and performances in the evening, and we are also doing different kind of productions – both dance, opera and musicals. So we need to have a really flexible rig.
