LumenRadio releases product upgrade - simplifying energy efficient outdoor lighting

LumenRadio introduces DALI-2 movement sensor compatibility for AirGlow, a controller for wireless outdoor lighting. The new feature will reduce power consumption but also enhance safety for cities and municipalities challenged by the critical balance of providing safe illuminated environments during dark hours at the same time operating in an energy efficient way. 

“In the context of both the climate and energy crisis, we see that more and more of our municipalities are cutting their energy cost by turning off the outdoor lighting during the night, which has an immediate effect on people’s sense of feeling safe. With AirGlow and DALI-2 movement sensors, autonomous control can be programmed for advanced night dimming schemes. The sensors will react on any movement from the immediate surrounding, at which the lighting system responds by turning the light on from zero to full illumination within a second.
