Lighting up innovation: LumenRadio powers the 2025 YouTube Works Awards in Seoul

At the 2025 YouTube Works Awards in Seoul, Lucea Lighting relied on LumenRadio’s Aurora to deliver stable, wireless DMX control across an extensive Astera setup – ensuring flawless lighting performance at one of Korea’s most high-profile creative events.

Wireless Control at the Heart of the Setup

On October 22, 2025, the YouTube Works Awards took place at Jangchung Arena in Seoul, South Korea. The event is a global award show that recognizes creative and results-driven marketing campaigns built on the YouTube platform – a celebration of innovation in digital storytelling.

To complement the energy and creativity of the show, Lucea Lighting designed and operated the event’s lighting system using equipment from MA LightingAstera, and LumenRadio.

Wireless Control at the Heart of the Setup

Central to the system was LumenRadio’s Aurora, providing robust CRMX wireless DMX connectivity for full control of more than 90 Astera fixtures – including AX2s, PixelBricks, Titans, AX5s, and AX7s – all run through two grandMA3 Light consoles.

The Aurora enabled flexible fixture placement and cable-free control, helping the lighting team maintain a clean stage setup without compromising reliability or precision.

Seamless Collaboration for a World-Class Event

With Lighting Designer Park Hyo Min leading the design and operation, Lucea Lighting successfully delivered a visually striking and technically reliable show.

By combining Astera’s versatile fixtures with LumenRadio’s proven CRMX technology, the team achieved stable wireless control — ensuring smooth performance from rehearsals to live broadcast.
