Idle devices like computers and vending machines can consume significant energy, even when not in use. In fact, all those plugged-in devices can account for more than 25% of a building’s energy use, with much of that power drain occurring when the space isn’t even occupied.

Honeywell, a leader in building management systems and energy transation solutions, tackles this issue with their new and innovative product, Connected Power. A controller that allows companies to automatically monitor and manage energy use down to individual power sockets, helping them better understand and control their buildings’ energy consumption.
