Do you want to be part of a team that develops the next generation of IoT products? Do you have a great passion for the software development of embedded systems?
You will work primarily in C and be familiar with embedded systems, as well as being able to grasp the whole picture. In the role as embedded software engineer at LumenRadio you will work both strategically and hands-on and be part of all stages of products development: specification, design, implementation, verification, documentation and support. You will report directly to the R&D Manager.
LumenRadio is looking for someone who loves working in electronic systems. Preferably you have a M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree with a major in electronics engineering, computer science or related area. You have a few years experience in embedded software development – either professionally or as a hobby.
For this position, we put a lot of emphasis on your personality and interest for technology. You have a good understanding of C and the challenges of writing low-level software (without an operating system or as part of an operating system). If you don’t know what an interrupt or reset vector is, this position is probably not for you. You should also be comfortable with understanding and reading circuit diagrams and data sheets.
As a person, you are social and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. An important part of this job is to help your colleagues grow and vice versa. You should be open to feedback and learning new things in order to be able to develop in your job.
LumenRadio is an international company and you therefore need to be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
LumenRadio is a passionate and dynamic workplace that operates in an industry constantly facing new challenges – and so will you. You will be able to influence your working day as well as the strategic planning of the company. LumenRadio believes their unique technology will help make the world a better place, and hope you will enjoy the journey of getting there as much as they do!
