LumenRadio is now looking for an experienced Business Area Manager with a focus on leadership, customers, products and sales. You will lead a team today consisting of 5 people located at two different sites, coach them in the daily business and have the overall responsibility for Business Area – Lighting. You will set the strategy for the business area, be involved in dialogues with existing and new customers, drive and close sales opportunities, and closely cooperate with Marketing, Product Management and other areas within our company.
You will play a major role in the further development of the business area – defining and launching business development initiatives, co-creating the marketing plan, suggesting new features and products and executing our aggressive growth strategy (possibly involving acquisitions). You will report to our global Sales & Marketing Director.

The position is located at the Gothenburg office, but includes travelling to customers, exhibitions, etc. both in Sweden and abroad.
We believe you are a driven and responsible manager with a minimum of 5 years leadership experience. You have at least 10 years´ experience from working in customer-facing roles, probably as a salesperson or a project manager close to technical products, ideally within the lighting industry.
You have a technical education and find it easy to understand how LumenRadio’s technology can create new opportunities and value for the customers. You are passionate about technology, that translates into a curiosity on new products and a willingness to stay up to date with what is happening on the market.
We believe you are communicative and create good relationships with both customers and co-workers. To be successful you need to be fluent in English and Swedish, both oral and written. You also enjoy working towards challenging targets with high energy and you have a positive attitude towards new opportunities and new ideas.
